Kannada film pays tribute to Charlie Chaplin

The upcoming Kannada movie Actor ' which chronicles the emotional downward spiral and subsequent recovery of the title character ' has a little something extra for film buffs. The actor, played by Naveen Krishna, is heavily influenced by cinematic legend Charlie Chaplin, which is why the film features props that pay tribute to him. 'Since the character is a follower of Chaplin, we have used lots of his quotes, as well as cutouts of him and other elements.This will engage the audience,' says the film's director Dayal Padmanabhan.
